Hmm. That should all be wrapped inside #content which should only occupy 60% width from the left. I'd be curious to see what you see, could you forward a screenshot? Also, is this evident on index.php or just the single-article view?

Thanks, Jonathan.

FYI, that blue triangle around the song diary tracklist appears too wide on Firefox. It runs over into the search and RSS column. I know you are very fastidious about such things, so I thought you'd want to know.

i guess i am dumb, but you completely lost me

"Each number is indicative of the position in the series."
are you talking about the 1-9 that you wrote underneath the routing numbers?

"In other words, match the number below to the number you have written below your underlined routing number,"

so how do you match the number below with the number written below? wouldnt that be matching the number with itself?

i know it would help me a lot if you would show your work. thank you for being patient with an idiot :)

Re: Alan Turing. I don't think his genius drove him insane, I think an intolerant society that arrested him for being an unapologetic homosexual and forced him to take female hormone therapy drove him insane. By all accounts, he was pretty well-adjusted aside from that.

Based on your interests above, I would suggest the following documentaries to add to your watch list:

<a href="http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0814075/" rel="nofollow">Deliver Us From Evil</a> - The harrowing confessions of a pedophile priest. Haunting.

<a href="http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0109410/" rel="nofollow">Chicken Hawk: Men Who Love Boys</a> - Title says it all. It's about NAMBLA and its members.

<a href="http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0398191/" rel="nofollow">Maybe Logic: The Lives and Ideas of Robert Anton Wilson</a> - Quantum physics, psychedelic prophecy, magick, conspiracy theory and extreme skepticism.

There is also another film called <a href="http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0907842/" rel="nofollow">The Bridge</a>, a cheapo indie about Scientology, based on true stories of people involved with the church. It's pretty good if you are totally fascinated with Scientology, as I am.

I really loved The Elegant Universe. I've read both of Brian Greene's books, upon which the NOVA docs were based, and I'd recommend those as well. The only problem with string theory, though, is that it is a blind alley: all theory and no practice. The theory does not have hypotheses that can be tested, and thus is in the realm of imaginary mathematics, rather than real ontology. If you are interested in learning more practical/pragmatic information about reality and its structure, I would recommend the works of Prigogine, and on the more philosophical end, the work of Bohm and DeLanda.

You should have a look through my documentaries at some point. My entire library is available for loan.

What I've always liked about the Smashing Pumpkin's early work (including Adore) is the dream pop influence they exhibited in their songs. Thirty-Three was a favorite for a long time, and I haven't heard it in awhile, so thank you.

Hi Shawn,

I just came across this for the first time, and yes, it is shocking that there are no replies! I couldn't resist. These are not necessarily my favorite artists (I'm not sure I could ever choose), just things I'm listening to right now.
the slits (return of the giant slits) - girls tap into animal nature
nick lowe (jesus of cool) - pure pop for now people ( I have to admit this is not mine originally - it was the U.S. title of his debut album "jesus of cool"
laurie anderson (big science) - sounds like my insides working
neko case (everything)- pounding of my country heart
ariel pink's haunted graffiti (worn copy) - things ending in summer heat.

This is not really related to this post, but did you end up making it to the Ariel Pink show? If so, how was it? Are you going to be in Napes around Christmas? I should be there a couple days before if you want to do something.

I really like all of these songs actually! I checked out the myspace page for The Twilight Sad and I definitely preferred this song among the others, but it's really good stuff. If you find yourself in the mood for something pretty light but odd and catchy, I highly recommend this guy:

I'm working overtime this week so I can buy his albums.

Yes, the cans are truly where it's at since that's where all the various flavors can be found, and since most gas stations carry them. 99¢ for a Fosters-size can of Arizona... unbeatable!
